accadis Bildung at SÜDCAMPUS Bad Homburg

We set high standards for our teaching quality. And we have equally high expectations when it comes to our facilities, equipment and fittings.

Our school utilises four out of the six buildings which belong to the accadis Bildung group at the SÜDCAMPUS Bad Homburg. As a matter of course, we develop and improve our facilities on an ongoing basis. In early 2023, we moved our Secondary School into the new ONEaccadis building. Now we are planning to expand the Sports Center of accadis Bildung by a second single-field hall with a viewing area for spectators.

True to our motto "accadis goes green", we regularly invest in measures to reduce our CO2 emissions, e.g. installing energy-saving LED lighting in our buildings or charging stations for e-cars, which can be used not only by the members of the accadis family but also by residents and those who work at the SÜDCAMPUS Bad Homburg.

Spacious Outside Areas

The school grounds at THREEaccadis extend to approximately 6000 square meters, where the children can run around in the fresh air during break times.

While the Preschool has its own playground, the Elementary School students use several interconnected courtyards with shaded seating and plenty of space for play.

The students in the Secondary School spend their breaks in an outdoor area surrounding ONEaccadis with Calistenics sports equipment and casual seating areas.

Plenty of play space for our youngest children

The Preschool is designed to meet the needs of young children. In colourful and bright rooms, children play and sing together and enjoy craft activities. There is also space for the daily rest periods. In a dedicated exercise room above the school's sports hall, Preschool children enjoy soft play and an age-appropriate introduction to sports and games.

State-of-the-art equipment in all classrooms

All accadis ISB classrooms are equipped with digital smartboards. Science labs and art rooms provide space for experiments and creative work. The music rooms with keyboards, drums and other instruments are great places for music lessons in all year groups as well as for rehearsals of the choirs and the school band.

Exercising in the school's own sports hall

Physical exercise improves concentration and Physical Education is therefore an integral part of the accadis ISB curriculum. In the school's own sports hall and on the outdoor pitch, students enjoy their PE lessons and practise athletics, ball sports and gymnastics. Furthermore, the accadis ISB sports hall offers space for numerous courses in the afternoon.

After School Activities

Three inviting libraries

There are three libraries at accadis ISB. In THREEaccadis, colourful free-form tables and comfortable sofas invite the Preschool and Elementary School children to browse through numerous books.

The two libraries in ONEaccadis are used by the students of the Secondary School as well as those of the Hochschule. The students appreciate these nice premises and enjoy spending time there to read, research, learn and study.

Cafeteria and Bistro

In the large, colourful cafeteria in the THREEaccadis, all Preschool and Elementary School children can recharge their batteries for the afternoon with a tasty lunch.

In ONEaccadis, students are also well catered for. In this building, the cafeteria of the Secondary School is complemented by a bistro for the students of the accadis Hochschule and all staff.

The start of school, assemblies, theatre plays, choir performances, graduation ceremonies - we celebrate the numerous festive moments of school in the "accadium" of accadis Bildung, an event space that can accommodate up to 250 people.
