The accadis Kindertagesstätte SÜDCAMPUS (aKS) is thrilled about a special recognition: as part of the "Movement is Fun" program by Sportkreis Hochtaunus and the Naspa Foundation, the day-care center was awarded a partner plaque. Additionally, the center received 200 euros to purchase new small sports equipment, enriching the children’s activity-filled days.
Physical Activity as Part of the Daily Routine
The "Movement is Fun" initiative supports day-care centers that integrate physical activity into their daily routines. With a dedicated concept focusing on "sports, exercise and health," aKS meets all the program's requirements: a dedicated activity room and movement areas in group rooms provide ample space for children to stay active. Moreover, physical activity is a cornerstone of the day-care’s concept and is scheduled at least twice a week.
A Creative Partner for the Program
Sport coordinator Torben Reinders plays a vital role in implementing the program. With his expertise and creativity, he enhances the day-care's offerings, helping children develop motor skills and enjoy movement through play.
Official Presentation of the Award
At the end of November, Tanja Finken from Sportkreis Hochtaunus presented the check to Katja Reinders, Head of aKS, Gerda Meinl-Kexel, founder and Managing Partner of accadis Bildung, and Torben Reinders.
Investing in New Movement Materials
"The 200 euros have already been put to excellent use," shared Anke Tena, Director of Early Childhood Education. "We purchased colorful gymnastics hoops that significantly expand our children’s movement opportunities."
Movement for Healthy Development
The partner plaque displayed at the entrance serves as a daily reminder of the importance of physical activity for children’s healthy development. With pride and enthusiasm, aKS continues its commitment to fostering an environment that strengthens and delights children through playful movement.
