Campus tour features current accadis Bildung projects
With a short film premiering this week on accadis Bildung's social media channels, the Bad Homburg-based education provider gives a tour of new projects and innovations on SÜDCAMPUS Bad Homburg. The biggest innovation will be the move of the accadis International School Bad Homburg (accadis ISB) Secondary School to the building 'Am Grünen Weg 4' next to accadis Hochschule in time for the 2022 school year.
accadis Bildung with the accadis Hochschule and accadis International School thus continues to grow together geographically and as a large ONEaccadis family. On Südcampus - which is currently undergoing a transformation - it forms an attractive educational hub known well beyond Bad Homburg. With the new premises next to the university, which could be procured thanks to the strong collaboration with the real estate expert NAIappollo, synergies and a mixed-age place of learning will be created. In addition to classrooms and specialized rooms, the new location also provides space for a large event area used by the university, accadis International School and companies, as well as a student bistro and administrative offices.
The space in the university is already occupied again, as the need for space is growing with the establishment of a Department of Education and the offering of the Bachelors degree program in "Childhood Education and Multilingual Education" starting in October of this year. Another innovation is accadis Hochschule's Building Entrepreneurs program, which supports founders during their studies with expertise and, more recently, with a dedicated co-working space at the university, from which start-ups can take their first steps into the business world.
The tour of the Südcampus also leads to accadis ISB's initial location at Am Weidenring 52 - 54, where plans are progressing for a new sports hall that will hover over the existing sports field. Here, too, synergies will be created within the accadis Bildung family, as the sports hall will be used by students of accadis ISB during the day and will be available to clubs from Bad Homburg as well as students of accadis Hochschule in the evening. In addition, for the school's younger children, there has recently been the addition of a nature playground across the street from accadis ISB, where outdoor lessons are held, nature projects are carried out, and there is space to play and romp.
