On Saturday, 16 November 2019, over 90 families attended the accadis ISB Open House. Interested parents and curious children could be found in the cafeteria, the classrooms and the sports hall even before the event started at 11 hrs. After the opening of the Open House, teachers and students provided details about learning at accadis ISB at the information event stands in the cafeteria. The varied program also included school tours and a a number of participatory program in the sports hall and – for the youngest – in the Preschool rooms.
From Preschool to the IB
In the much-visited cafeteria, teachers and the Heads of School answered questions about the bilingual Preschool, the bilingual Elementary School and the Secondary School, which leads to the internationally and nationally recognized International Baccalaureate Diploma. In the renovated building in the adjacent Norsk-Data-Strasse 3, the visitors discovered the new art and meeting rooms and the new library, which invited them to sit in a comfortable chair and read.
Sport for young and old
An impression of the accadis ISB sports program was provided by the participation activities in the school's own sports hall. Numerous children chose to be experimental and tried their hand at such things as table tennis. Meanwhile, the youngest visitors to the accadis ISB Preschool had a lot of fun with a playful and age-appropriate program.
With information material in their hands and helpful answers in their minds, the visitors left accadis ISB in the afternoon.
