On Wednesday 9 October 2019, the accadis ISB students arrived at school early in the morning as on every day. Instead of lessons, however, the Vice President of the American German Business Association e. V. (AGBC) Michael Oppenheim awaited them. Many students looked forward to tips and tricks from a "consulting giant".

For half an hour he introduced the students to AGBC's Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow program and the opportunities it offers.

"One hundred and fifty teams of up to four team members each take part in our competition every year. There are about fifty teams left until the last meeting. Five of them will enter the final and present their ideas to an expert jury." Michael Oppenheim proudly announced these figures. Little by little, he presented the benefits of the program. The prize for the team that will come first as decided by the jurors is 1000.00 Euros, he said. After this announcement, a murmur went through the room, everyone looked at each other. Many students felt motivated to take part in the program by the high sum

Simple participation conditions

"The conditions for participation are simple," said Michael Oppenheim. "Sign up online and then simply go to the seven meetings at the TechQuarter near Skyline Plaza in Frankfurt.” The date for the first meeting in the room "Waldstadion" already was on Friday, 17 October 2019. The AGBC Vice President added that teams can come unannounced. He also stressed that participation in the project was free of charge.

All in all, Michael Oppenheim made us students curious about his association. Four students from our class are now even taking part in the project and were very enthusiastic at the start of the first meeting
