Yummee. What’s for lunch today???
With great expectation the children of the accadis International School Bad Homburg look up to the new caterer serving lunch. Today the menu says: chicken breast and rice, and for desert a red apple with accadis logo. That’s much better than before!!
It is the first day in the new school building in the Norsk-Data-Straße in Bad Homburg, Ober-Eschbach and it is not only the food that is better.
Much is better. The classrooms, the Cafeteria, the playground, the offices – just everything!! What immediately catches a visitor’s eye are the bright, sunny, large rooms. And wow are there many!! Many more than at the old campus of the Dietigheimer Strasse!
On the first day the students are greeted by the principle and then taken to their new class rooms by their teacher. Everything is new. Everything is strange. And so it must be that the students are shown around the whole building. The children are thrilled. Everything is just great!!
The move into the new building was only allowed to take four days – an extended weekend. That had to be enough to move the whole school from the Dietigheimer Straße to the Norsk-Data Strasse. And it was not only the moving firm that put hands on but also the whole family Meinl-Kexel. Towing tables, packing cartons, cleaning chairs – everybody helped. So despite the short time everything was ready by Monday evening, just in time for the arrival of the students on 5. April.
Now that (nearly) everything is ready the accadis International School, Bad Homburg opens its doors to the public on Saturday, 09. April, from 10:00 bis 14:00. Visitors may stroll through the new building and speak with teaching staff in their classrooms. We will also be happy to inform new parents about the unique accadis ISB concept. And don’t miss the performances of students.
