On Saturday, 2 February 2019, numerous families attended the Open House at
accadis International School Bad Homburg. The versatile program with an
information fair in the cafeteria, school tours and public rehearsals of the
"aCT – accadis Club of Theater" were well received by the visitors.
From Preschool to the IB
In the cafeteria, teachers and Head of School answered parents‘ questions
about the bilingual Preschool, the bilingual Elementary School and the
bilingual Secondary School, which leads to the internationally and nationally
recognized International Baccalaureate Diploma.
New this year were the subject presentations by our Secondary School
students. They presented their subjects to interested parents and students and
answered questions about lessons.
Diversified after school activities
The public rehearsal of the "aCT – accadis Club of Theater"
provided an impression of the accadis ISB afternoon program. Numerous young and
older visitors formed a curious audience in the new music and theater room.
Other visitors showed physical activity in the sports hall. In addition to a
sports program, many children also tried out table tennis. The new
course “Robotics” was also presented and well received by the visitors.
Guided tours of the accadis ISB campus
The guided tours by the accadis ISB students through the school grounds
were also particularly popular. With lots of motivation they showed the curious
guests their classrooms, the library and the music room with the large stage.
With information material in their hands and helpful answers in their
heads, the visitors left accadis ISB in the afternoon.
We are already looking forward to the upcoming Open House in November 2019!
