accadis International School Bad Homburg is now also an official Cambridge School.
Following the accreditation as an IB World School in January 2016, in July 2016 accadis International School Bad Homburg has also become an official Cambridge School. The Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) curriculum is compatible with that of the Hessian secondary schools (Gymnasien). In Grades 5 to 10 accadis ISB teaches a combination of Hessian and Cambridge curriculum and thereby exceeds the requirements set by the Hessian educational standards. At the end of Grade 10 the students take the IGCSE examinations and at the same time also receive their German secondary school certificate. Furthermore the IGCSE examinations are internationally recognized. In addition to academic content, the Cambridge curriculum also attaches great importance to the fact that students learn to be critical thinkers, to be open-minded and interested in lifelong learning.
This additional accreditation confirms that International School Bad Homburg has fulfilled the highest standards in terms of examination requirements, training of its faculty as well as the provisions and equipment of its classrooms. A further important step once again confirming the commitment and experience of the teaching staff.
