"Can we do this again next Friday?", the pupils of the Elementary School and Primary classes asked their "teachers" from Grades 5 to 9 more than once when they started their weekend after the accadis ISB Spring Project.
Students take responsibility
What reads like a content error was the goal of the first accadis ISB Spring Project. The older students planned one lesson for the Grade 1 to 4 students and the two Primary classes. Afterwards they carried out the program.
From fitness to dreams about flying
The ideas were manifold. Grade 9 students had set up a sports course for the Grade 4 students in the schoolyard, so that the younger students could prove their coordination ability and skills. The Grade 8 students worked with the Grade 3 students on dream pictures and Grade 5 worked on the topic of "flying" with the Primary classes.
Thinking outside of the box
Everywhere on the school grounds one heard joyful student voices this afternoon, and in the end the proud students from the higher grades and the "younger ones" agreed: We will repeat this again soon. Once again it became apparent that the focused view outside of the box at accadis ISB allows the students to take on responsibility and draws them together across all age groups.
