Accompanied by music teacher Dr. Stefan Wolkenfeld on the piano, she sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" – a touching moment that brought tears to some eyes. Guest speaker Bledion Vladi, a graduate of accadis ISB in 2018 and accadis Hochschule in 2021, also delivered inspiring words to the graduates of this year's class.

Why Universities Value the IB

The IB Diploma qualifies graduates for study in Germany and worldwide. The IB Diploma offers a number of advantages and universities welcome the breadth as well as depth of study. IB graduates have a wider perspective and have markedly superior skills in research, critical thinking and decision-making. The coherent, balanced program produces multi-skilled students - they are regarded as very well prepared for university and working life.

Focus on Study Skills from Day One

For example, Prof. Dr. Andreas Huber, Head of the Marketing and Media Department at accadis Hochschule, teaches the subject "Business Management" in the IB Diploma Programme. This rigorous, challenging and dynamic discipline in the ‘Individuals and Societies‘ subject group of the IB DP helps students to understand and evaluate the implications of business activity in an interconnected, global market.
